It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin C. Heemstra of New Lenox, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martin C. Heemstra to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mothers, Gertrude Heemstra (Linda Heemstra) and Mary Salerno-Heemstra (DiNovo); his son Michael Heemstra; and his sister Marijean Heemstra. He is survived by: his children, Dean Heemstra, Deanna Quenzel (Tom), Christopher Heemstra (Lisa) and LauraAnn Krolak-Johnson (Kris Johnson); his stepson Michael DiNovo (Karyn); his brother Bernie Heemstra (Carol); his grandchildren, Isabella Heemstra, Caleb Hack, Vincent DiNovo, Cecilia DiNovo, Courtney McFarlane (David) and Timothy Krolak; and his great grandchildren, Violet McFarlane, Lucas McFarlane and Baby Kro. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
