She was predeceased by: her parents, Evert Olson and Ruth Olson; her husband Cornelius N. "Neal" Boomsma; her daughter Laura Boomsma; and her sister Annette Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Avery (Steve) and Nicholas Boomsma (Julie); and her grandchildren, Elyse Jansma, Gavin Boomsma and Garret Boomsma.
