He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Verchimak and Emma Verchimak (Marko); and his son Michael Verchimak. He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Freund; his son Matthew J. Verchimak (Jeanette); and also Lou. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Lou's memory to the Will County Old Timers Baseball Association or to Trinity Lutheran Church.
