He is survived by: his wife Verna; his son Robert; his granddaughter Mandy Lewis (Matt); his brother Karol Horvath (Erzi); his sisters-in-law, Josie DeBartolomeo, Fran Ziemetz (Horvath) and Ann Horvath; and his nephew Imri Micholics. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
