He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Donald F. Wennlund; his spouse Shirley Ann Wennlund; his children, Jayna DeAngelis (Dean), Cass Wennlund (Michelle), Dr. Joelle Wennlund (Michael Snyder) and Kara Singer (Cory); his grandchildren, Patrick Gunville (Ellie), Nicholas DeAngelis, Derek Ellenberger (Jorie), Alyssa Hecke (Ben), Thomas Stein (Ashley), Colt Wennlund, Luke Wennlund, Dr. Courtney Donahoe (Andrew), Sydney Schleicher (Jake), Cassidy Cleveland, Charley Cleveland, Cal Singer and Sam Singer; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Adeline Gunville, Liam, Mariellen, Julianne Hecke, Drake, Camden Ellenberger and Sadie Schleicher; and his siblings, Patricia JoAnn McCullough (late Albert), Billy Wennlund (Rosemarie) and Marsha Been (Rich).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Larry's name to Lightways Hospice in Joliet or Trinity Lutheran Church, New Lenox would be appreciated.
