She was predeceased by: her parents, George Anderson and Mary Anderson (Light); her husband Richard D. "Dick" Starmann; her brother James Anderson; and also, Stephen and Irene Starmann (Shiffer).

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Middleton (Mark) of Joliet, Lori Sharp (Mike) of Joliet and Kurt Starmann (Tracy) of Belmont, CA; her grandchildren, Kristen Sterr (Keith), Matthew Middleton (Kristin) and Anderson Starmann; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Colin Sterr and Blake Middleton; and her granddaughter Erinn.
