She was predeceased by: her father Harold A. Jacobs; her husband Donald V. Bartel; and her brother Gilbert Jacobs (Carol). She is survived by: her sibling Terry Jacobs (Judy); and her nieces and nephews, Dawn Polacek (Tom), Ryan Jacobs (Brooke), Jennifer Jacobs, Danielle Cieply (James) and Kaitlyn Smith (Dale).
In lieu of flowers memorials in Jan's name to Lightways Hospice or United Methodist Church of New Lenox would be appreciated.
