Irene M. Galassi Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene M. Galassi (New Lenox, Illinois), who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Galassi; her son Victor Galassi Jr.; and her brothers, Raymond Robbins, Harold "Bud" Robbins and James Robbins.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Lattyak, Paul Galassi (Judy), Ilene Semanic (John) and Gary Galassi (Sophia); and her brother Robert Robbins. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A prayer was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (7659 W Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery.
