She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Anderson and Amelia Anderson; her husband Ivan Doncheff; and her sister Margaret Rosen (Bill). She is survived by: her children, John O'Brien (Deb), Todd O'Brien (Jan), Kellie O'Brien, Dan O'Brien and Chris O'Brien; her grandchildren, Amy Kempa-Kuchta (Frank), Tony Gibertini (Christie), Patrick Murphy, Allison Fishman (Joel), Molly Poe (Tyler), Heather Schodrof (Mark) and Mimi O'Brien; and her great grandchildren, Alexander Croft, Madelyn Irene Benoit, Vinny, Gino Gibertini, Jackson, Beckham and Hunter Schodrof.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Irene's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.A.W.S. Animals Shelter of Tinley Park or Wounded Warriors in Action.
