It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Reid Ekedahl of New Lenox, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley T. Ekedahl and Viola M. Holmes Ekedahl of New Lenox, IL.; his wife Barbara Herron Johnson; his brother-in-law Glenn Young; his son-in-law David Dustin; and his great-niece Katie Joanne Weidner.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Dustin (David) of Minneapolis, MN, Leslie Pico (Bernie) of Sacramento, CA, Jeannine Ekedahl Leveckis (Algis), Stanley Ekedahl (Marrilee) of Sacramento, CA and Erica Rodrequez of Sacramento, CA; his sister Leslie Rosenkrans (Charles) of Paris, MO; his niece Beth Weider (Daryl); and his nephew Jamie Young (Kristine) of Madison, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
