He is survived by: his children, Dave (Ruth), Peter (Barb), Mark (Susan), John (Louise), Julie Cassidy (Kevin) and Maggie Jager (Mark); and his great grandchildren, Anna Jack Morrissey (Jim), Kayla (Greg), Sophie, Charlie Opperman, Leah Eloise (Shane), George Snyder, Jack, Julia Egofske, Dean, Emmett Vitalie, Julienne, Elise Egofske, Nolan, Brayden, Kaitlin Cassidy, Madi, Josephine, William Jager and Ryan Egofske.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel - New Lenox (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451).
