It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Ward Merrick (New Lenox, Illinois), born in Holden, West Virginia, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Ellen Ward and Jackson Ward. She is survived by: her husband Michael Merrick of Homer Glen; and her sisters, Pamela Lee Roe and Connie Beth Fraley of Elyria, OH. She is also survived by two stepdaughters, grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
