With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor K. Payne (New Lenox, Illinois), who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Warren "Skip" Payne; her parents, Anton Peterson and Sylvia "Babe" Peterson; her brothers, Louis, Raymond, Lyle "Buzz", Ivan and Robert; and her grandson Larry "Oscar" Auld.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Auld (Lawrence) and Joseph McClellan; her siblings, Nina West, Eva Stidham (Troy), Art Peterson, Carl Peterson, Grandchilden Josh Auld (Gabriela), Nicole Fender, Joseph McClellan and Ashley McClellan; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Lily, Charlie, Ben and Joey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
