He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrel Payne and Freda Payne (Sinclair); his wife Judy Payne (Mullins); his son Donald Ray Payne, Jr.; and his siblings, Dale, Jim, Bonnie, Violet and Frances.
He is survived by: his children, Freda Markle (Wyman) and Edward Payne (Jodie); his siblings, Rosie, Mildred and Patsy; his grandchildren, Christopher, Aaron, Samantha, Seth, Shyanne and Spencer Ray; and his friends, Linda Bruck, Josephine Bruck, Geri Gorecki and Chrissie Gorecki. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
