He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Wesel and Helen Wesel (Golke); his parents-in-law, Bill and Anne Divyak; and his granddaughter Jacqueline.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Wesel of New Lenox, IL; his children, Eric Wesel (Sandi) of New Lenox, IL, Dennis Wesel (Scott Houghton) of Green Lake, WI, Emily Dotzenrod (Chad) of Manhattan, IL and Bill Wesel (Julie) of Wauconda, IL; his grandchildren, Allie, Ricky, Joe, Kolin, Anna, Morgan and Maddie; his brother Rich Wesel; and his aunt Betty Golke. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
