She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Dunn; her parents, Frank Hartman and Olga Hartman; her brother Frank Hartman; her grandsons, Keith Niemann and Andrew Craighead; and her son-in-law Edward VanderVeen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Niemann-VanderVeen, Faye Craighead and Gale Volkerding (Dale); her granddaughters, Sarah O'Donovan (Mike), Emily Volkerding (Ryan Robleske), Anne Rose Sechrist (Bryan) and Holly Volkerding; her great grandchildren, Jeffrey Niemann (Chelsea), Parker Niemann (Lauren Catrone), Thomas O'Donovan, Julia O'Donovan, Catherine O'Donovan, Brady Robleske and Riley Robleske; her great great grandchild Mary Elizabeth Niemann; her sister Marilyn Viano; and her caregivers, Natalie, Colleen, Mary and Louise.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in New Lenox in Betty's name.
