She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Brkal and Anna Brkal; her husband Charles H. Stepek Jr.; her daughter Valerie Jontz (Larry); and her siblings, Ann, Emily, Betty and John.
She is survived by: her children, Charles H. Stepek III and Cindy Poenicke (Kirk); and her grandsons, Paul Poenicke and Andy Poenicke. She is also survived by aunt numerous nieces and nephews.
