He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ferencik and Joseph Ferencik. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ferencik; his children, Kathleen Speckman (Ron) and Mark Ferencik (late Nancy); his grandchildren, Stephen Stelter (Tarah), Jennifer Smetana (Matthew), Michael Stelter and Lauren Ferencik; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Shamus, Jacob, Jaiden, Luke, Ryan and Jake.

In Lieu of Flowers the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude's (New Lenox) Building Fund or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
