He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Frederick and Lula Ackerman (Ridenour); and his siblings, Lola Smith, Lula VInson, Wayne, Joseph, William, Howard, James, Fred and Herbert Ackerman.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy J. Turner; and his children, Terry Ackerman (Lisa) of Carmi, Becky Ann Ackerman (Steve Swanson) of Petersburg, IN and Donna June Pollard (William) of Maunie. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
