With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Baumgart of New Haven, Illinois, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hillenbrand and Elvera Hillenbrand (Titzer); and her son Larry Baumgart. She is survived by: her husband Robert Baumgart; her children, Jane Moon (Perry) of Tuscumbia, AL, Kathy Moon (Chet) of Tuscumbia, AL, Jeff Baumgart (Debbie) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Bob Baumgart (Kristy) of Acworth, GA and Cindy Baumgart of Norris City; her brother David Hillenbrand (Carol) of Evansville, IN; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hester (Mike), Alyssa Stubblefield (Collin), Chelsea Moon, Ali Clark (Tyler), Josh Baumgart, Maddie Baumgart, Alaina Baumgart, Terry Baumgart, Jeb Baumgart, Zeke Baumgart, Finlee Hite, Robert Baumgart, Matthew Baumgart, Abby Baumgart, Kaitlyn Baumgart and Christopher Baumgart; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Hester, Kimberlee Hester and Lyla Jane Stubblefield.

Memorial contributions may be made in Janet's memory to St. Matthew's Catholic School and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
