It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Muñiz (New Haven, Illinois), who passed away on February 22, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Justino Muñiz and Concepcíon Muñiz; and her sister Carmen Muñiz. She is survived by: her spouse Carlos Castro; her children, Maria, Carmen Irizarry of Ponce, Esther Irizarry of Springfield, MA, José Antonio of Ponce, José Ricardo of Ponce and Luís Alberto Irizarry of Ponce; and her sisters, Cruz Muñiz, Felicita Muñiz of New Haven, Bienvenida Torres and Mirna Torres of Ponce. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and one great grandson.
