It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin R. Weisbrod of New Douglas, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Weisbrod and Pauline Weisbrod; and his sister Diane Ellis. He is survived by: his nephew Chris Plag; his niece Jill Tienes; his great-nephew Andrew Tienes; his great-niece Allison Tienes; his cousins, Gerry Eckles and Jay Eckles; and his friends, Linda Giannoni, Steve and Barb Oppland.
