With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred I. Kassing Jr. of New Douglas, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on August 15, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Alfred "Butch" Kassing, Sr.; his grandmothers, Florine Kassing and Hattie; his aunt Linda Mackowiak; his nephew Kenny Kassing, Jr.; his great-grandparents, Gus, Eleanor Gruenewald, Joe and Michalina Gregowicz; and his stepfather Larry Merchut.
He is survived by: his mother Marcia Kassing,; his brothers, Robert Kassing and Kenneth Kassing (Sharon); his niece Samantha Kassing; his nephew Andrew Kassing (Abby); and his aunt Shirley.
