He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Kirby and Ruby Ethel Rhodes Kirby; his wife Carolyn Butler; his stepsons, Ron Crossman and Rob Crossman; and also Judith Ray Irwin.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Mason of Barry, IL, Jody Rennecker of Bowling Green, MO and Rachel Scranton (Daniel) of Lebanon, IN; and his brothers, Dean Kirby of Rockport, IL and Don Kirby of Rockport, IL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
