He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ray Grimsley Sr. and Bernice Grimsley (Morrow); his sister Karen Jean; his uncle Richard Morrow; his stepdaughter Lisa Brown; his sisters-in-law, Crista Grimsley and Frances Dieker; and his close friend Randy Newland.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Grimsley; his children, Nicole Triplett (Chad) of New Mexico, Shelly Young (David) of Quincy, IL, Ray Grimsley (Joyce) of Hull, IL, Brandon Grimsley (Tina) of Hannibal, MO, Mike Brown (Jenny) of Quincy, IL and Adam Brown (Marsha) of Hannibal, MO.; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Emily, Jake, Celeste, Amelia, Sidney, Isla, Nikki, Tiffany and Drew; his great grandchild Zepplin; his siblings, Bill Grimsley of Kinderhook, IL, Eileen Bernard of New Canton, IL, Sherril Turner (Darrel) of Shelbina, MO and Dena Moyer of Kinderhook, IL; his aunt Kathy Reynolds; and his nephews, Jacob Harrison and Ryan Moyer. He is also survived by numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
