Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Curtis William Gard of New Canton, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 72, on March 3, 2025. Though Curtis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Curtis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Gard and Martha Elizabeth Gard (Davis). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Gard; his sister Mary Leeper (John) of Colleyville, Texas; his niece Lisa Adams (Berry); his nephew Gard Leeper (Tracie); and his in-laws, Kevin McKee, Steve McKee (Donna) and Bruce McKee (Barb). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the New Canton Methodist Church.
