She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Carver and Bernice Hollins Carver; her former husbands, Wesley "Bud" Long, Jr. and David Needham; and her husband Bob Phillips.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Long (Stella), Julie Bacon (Mark) and Paul Long (Trisha); her grandchildren, Heather McDade (Stephen), Scott Long, Matt Long, Allicia Shannon (Damion), Alex Bueno, Justin Long (Jacquie), Ginger West (Tyler), Jenny Hardin (Corey) and Jillian DeFrieze (Sheldon); her brothers, Ralph Carver (Laura), Wendell Carver (Diane), Steve Phillips (Carrie) and Scott Phillips (Andrea); her nephew Isaiah; and her nieces, Autumn and Dawn Buri (Bruce). She is also survived by great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
