He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Elizabeth Stewart, Arthur Stewart of Round Rock, Kristen "Tina" Nelson-Boutros and Rami Boutros of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Kaden Nelson (Jillian Hennenfent), Garen Nelson, Taven Nelson-Boutros, Laken Nelson-Boutros and Lilien Nelson-Boutros; and his friend Barbara Thede.
