We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2024, at the age of 76, Dana L. Caldwell of New Boston, Illinois, born in Laager, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Lee DeFrieze of New Boston, Chris DeFrieze (Jamie Cleveland) of New Boston, Mike DeFrieze (Barbara) of New Boston, Mark DeFrieze (Katrina) of New Boston, Robert DeFrieze (Lori) of New Boston, Jennifer DeFrieze of New Boston and Missy DeFrieze (Jeff Smith) of New Boston; and her siblings, Dean Caldwell (Angie) of Moline, Danny Caldwell of Moline, Delores Wenthe (Marty) of Moline, Denise Brooks (Chris) of Milan and Daphney Welsh of Milan. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Boston United Methodist Church (605 Main St, New Boston, IL 61272). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DeFrieze Family.
