It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcus A. Longmeyer of New Berlin, Illinois, born in Carrollton, Illinois, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Longmeyer, Jr. and Maxine A. C. Fitzgerald Longmeyer; and his grandson Joseph Curry. He is survived by: his wife Gale Lynn Longmeyer of New Berlin; his children, Patrick Longmeyer (Brooke Duea) of Jacksonville and Brooke Greenwood (Shane) of Alexander, IL; his stepdaughters, Erica O'Neal (Walter Williams) of Springfield and Andrea Boyce (Marquis) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Sean Curry, Elijah Boyce, Bianca and Brynlee Greenwood; his brother Alec Longmeyer (Dana) of Roodhouse, IL; his sister-in-law Cheri Wehmhoff; and his pet Gin. He is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, and many cousins.
