He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bruce, Jean Seward and Mary Ellen Jones; and his aunt Bonnie Thornton. He is survived by: his father Craig Bruce Seward; his wife Nancy Nelson; his stepmother Mary Seward (Jones) of Sebastian, FL; his sisters, Tori Patton (Bob) of Springfield and Mandi Jennings (Eric) of Lombard, IL; his nephews, Maddox Patton, Tommy Jennings and Beau Jennings; his niece Elle Jennings; and his aunts and uncles, Gale Pemberton (Bob), Vicki Easley (Dick), Kathy Hulen, Bill Jones, Mike Jones (Deb), Dan Jones (Anna), Dennis Jones and Steve Jones.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bisch Funeral Home West (2931 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM.
