It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mihalich of New Berlin, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mihalich and Laverne Mihalich (Thomas); his wife Mary Jane Stice; and his sister Carol Jean Wilson. He is survived by: his sons, Ronald "Ron" Mihalich (Amy) of New Berlin and Gregory "Greg" Mihalich (Jamie Burnett) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Colin of Milwaukee, WI, Ashley of Springfield, Clayton of Springfield and Nicholas of Springfield; and his siblings, Joann Otwell (Nelson) of Moro, IL, Janet Gilleland (Raymond) of East Alton, IL, Teresa Copeland (Larry) of East Alton, IL, Jerry Wilson (Sharon) of Wood River, IL and Michael Wilson of Wood River. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
