It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hermes of New Berlin, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Keenan and Evelyn A. Keenan (Ferguson); her husband Vincent E. Hermes; and her sister Patricia Ann Keenan Seymour. She is survived by: her sons, Phil Hermes (Lorie) of Bloomington and Joe Hermes (Amy) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Michael Hermes, Rachel Sexton (Scott), David Hermes (Lacy), Stephen Hermes and Chloe Grandlienard (Colin); her great grandchild Lola Sexton; and her brothers, William T. Keenan (Judy) of Riverton and John P. Keenan (Vickie).
