He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Pereira (Poulin); and his parents, Antonio A. Pereira and Audrey "Rose" Pereira (Faye). He is survived by: his children, Stephen Brightman (Carol), Chris Pereira (Lise Hindle) of Westport, Mark Pereira (Deborah) of Dartmouth and Patricia Brightman-Shores of East Windsor, CT; his sisters, Linda Stauffer (Jeff) of Dartmouth, Carol Luiz (John) of New Bedford and Kathy Dehner of New Bedford; and his former wife Linda Pereira (Tavares). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
