It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joana Vieira (New Bedford, Illinois), who passed away on July 24, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Jose DePina; her child Arthur D. Vieira; and her sibling Ligia Monteiro. She is survived by: her parent Laura DePina (Lopes); her husband Joao; her children, John Vieira of Brazil and Anita Grimes of Dartmouth; and her siblings, Maria Macedo of New Bedford, Ana Paula Miranda of Brockton, Gertrudes Gonçalves, Herminio DePina, Jose DePina, Alfonso DePina and Catarina Gomes. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
