She was predeceased by: her spouse Wilfrid C. Fortier; and her parent Lester Hacking. She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth Hacking (Marginson); her sons, Kenneth Fortier (Krista Brejcha) of New Bedford and William Fortier (Angie) of Knightdale, NC; her brother Lester Hacking, Jr. of Vermont; and her granddaughter Brianne Fortier.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Sacred Heart Home, St. Michael's Unit, 359 Summer St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
