He is survived by: his spouse Judite Tavares (Coutinho); his children, Carla Farias of New Bedford, Marina Tavares of Taunton and Joseph Michael Tavares (Lenore) of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Teryn Catherine Gianunzio (Robert) of New Bedford, Joshua Michael Morgado (Nilia) of New Bedford, Brandon Farias (Amber) of New Bedford, Aaron Farias of New Bedford and Chloe Ann Morgado (Chloicas) of Taunton; his great grandchildren, Sophie Marie Farias and Sebastian Farias; and his brother Joseph Michael Tavares (Carol).
