He was predeceased by: his father George; his brother Glennon "Shorty" Netemeyer; and his brother-in-law Cletus Stemple. He is survived by: his sisters, Fran and Jane; his children, Deb Kehrer (Bruce) of New Baden, Dan Netemeyer (Julie) of Gulf Shores, Darren Netemeyer (Tammy) of Millstadt and Dana Woods of New Baden, Illinois; his grandchildren, Trevor Kehrer (Elisha), Tyler Kehrer (Megan), Nicole Kettwich (Kellen), Ryan Netemeyer, Devin Netemeyer, Sophie Netemeyer, Emily Woods and Erin Woods; and his great grandchildren, Trent Kehrer, Ella Kehrer, Rion Kehrer, Kort Kehrer, Nix Kehrer, Zander Kehrer, Anniston Kehrer, Ainsley Kettwich and Emma Kettwich.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Baden Volunteer Fire Department or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
