Steven Jay Stroot Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Jay Stroot of New Baden, Illinois, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Stroot and Norma Stroot (Hoffman). He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne; his grandchildren, Sydney Butler, Tyler Butler, Michael Weight, Adilene Weight, Violet Weight, Stanley Stroot, Jessie Stroot and Jamison Stroot; and his siblings, Jeff Stroot (Jake) of Quincy, IL and Kim Scheuermann (Allen) of Payson, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, and friends.
