Stan R. Wilken Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stan R. Wilken of New Baden, Illinois, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Wilken and Margaret Wilken. He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Swinney (Cory) and Kathryn Wilken (Cody Woods); his grandchildren, Waylon, Tucker and Jules Swinney; and his siblings, Gene Wilken (Barb), Rita Goebel (late Jim), Frank Wilken (late Karen), Ann Dillow and Jerome Wilken (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the The Station (2443 Wittenberg Road, New Baden, Illinois 62265).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart & Vascular Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, in Stan’s memory – though we are pretty sure he’d prefer you just tell a good, funny story in his honor.
