He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wright; his children, Phillip Santel of New Baden, Richard Santel (Keri) of Carlyle and Diane Santel (David Ohl) of New Baden; his grandchildren, Samantha Jolliff of Granite City, Russel T. Santel of Walnut Hill, IL, Dalton Steinhauer of New Baden, Piper Santel of New Baden, Kelli Santel of Aviston and Ronny Santel of Carlyle; his sister June Davis (Gary) of Trenton; and his sister-in-law Pat Wright of Belleville. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
