She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Swanson; her parents, Leslie (Gwendoline) and Stepp; and her sister Vera Stepp. She is survived by: her children, Paul Swanson (Donna) of O'Fallon and Carolyn Frisse (Robert Jr.) of New Baden; her grandchildren, Melanie Dziurdzy (Caleb), Michael Swanson, Gwendolyn Frisse (Danny Wiggins) and Cale Frisse; her great grandchildren, Camden, Alina and Lydia Dziurdzy; her sister Beryl Green of Swindon, England; her sister-in-law Marie Arneson (Marvin) of Prentice, Wisc.; and her pet Daisy.
Memorial donations in memory of Margaret are suggested to either Faith Lutheran Church or Spencer Pet Rescue.
