He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hund and Frances Hund (Moll); his wife Mary B. Hefner; his mother-in-law Olis (Mary Ann Hefner); his siblings, Paul Hund (Betty), Jim Hund and Gene Hund; and his brother-in-law Robert Hefner.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Hund (Jacquie) of Irvington, Alan Hund (Veronica) of New Baden, Tater Hund (Norma) of New Baden, Susie Hintz (Tim) of New Baden and Dan Hund (Gretchen) of Highland; his grandchildren, Zach Hund (Kayla), Jessie Hund, Josh Hund (Lori Johnston), Dylan Hund (Maddie), Rhys Hund, Melanie Haas (Adam), Bryn Hund, Carys Gubbels (Austin), Ffyon Hund, Trent Hund, John Hund, Calvin Hintz, Jay Strider, Valerie Hund and Lucas Hund; and his sister-in-law Lonnie Hefner of Mascoutah. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
