With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Jean LaCaze of New Baden, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer H. Singler and Marie Singler (Timmermann); her stepfather Paul Povolish; her parents-in-law, Margaret and Woodrow LaCaze; her brother Ronald; and her sister-in-law Judith Singler.
She is survived by: her spouse Thomas LaCaze; her sons, Rodney LaCaze (Karen) of New Baden and Jace LaCaze of New Baden; her grandchildren, Sophia, Everett, Ella and Maddox LaCaze; her sisters, Judy Hemann (Bill) of New Baden and Gwen Middelton (Mic) of Nashville; and her siblings-in-law, Cindy Singler of New Baden, Wanda Noble (Albert) of Marion and Frank LaCaze (Tish) of Salem. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, memorials are suggested to the Team Donna Scholarship Fund or Family Hospice and will be received at church or at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 East Hanover Street, New Baden, IL 62265.
