Athmer of New Baden, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Kay "Debbie" Mitchell; and his friend Brian Brandmeyer. He is survived by: his children, Shaina Rakers (Chris) and Tyler Becker (Jenny); his stepdaughter Suzan Fehrenbach (Rich); his grandchildren, Caroline, Camdyn Rakers, Blair, Blake and Brinley Becker; his siblings, Karen Mauser (Terry) of New Baden, Duane Athmer (Terri) of Wilmington, Matt Athmer (Lynn) of Germantown, Keith Athmer (Jane) of Trenton, Michelle Wegmann (Herman) of New Baden, Craig Athmer (Christine) of Damiansville and Kelly Elias (Jeff) of Breese; his father-in-law Jerry Mitchell; and his sisters-in-law, Jessica Schimborski (David), Grace Guerra (Hector) and Bonnie Pricher (Jason). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
