He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Ridge and Ernest Ridge; and his siblings, Lillie Ridge, Clara Carty, Mary Horne, Ernest "Bud" Ridge and Luther Ridge.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ridge of New Baden; his daughter Debbie Burke of Youngsville, LA; his siblings, Pauline Grimes of Sabillasville, MD and Roy (Peggy Ridge); and his close friend James Sheridan of New Baden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
