We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2019, at the age of 71, Carol Ann Schlechte (New Baden, Illinois), born in Breese, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Gerald Schlechte; her siblings, Clinton, Richard, Ralph, Helen Mueller, Violet Schroeder and Blanche Rensing; and her brothers-in-law, Roy Mueller, Harold Schroeder, Cornelius Rensing, Vernon Schanz and Ronald Altman.

She is survived by: her son Geoffrey Gerald Schlechte of Collinsville; and her sisters, Dorothy Schanz of Mascoutah and Roselyn Altman of New Baden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
