He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cletus Stempel and Fran Stempel (Netemeyer); his children, Tim Stempel (Dorri) of New Baden and Kari Meyer (David) of Trenton; his grandchildren, Hoyt, Ilah Stempel, Wyatt and Wren Meyer; his son Lance Alan Stempel; his grandparents, George, Elsie Netemeyer, Leo and Josephine Stempel; and also Fran Stempel.
