With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley M. Leinecke in New Athens, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on April 29, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Rickert and Rose E. Rickert (Warren); her husband Stanley P. Leinecke; her siblings, Robert J. Rickert, Harold E. Rickert, John F. Rickert, Rose Anna Rigdon and Mary E. Rickbourg; her grandson Ryan White; and her parents-in-law, Philip and Anna Leinecke (Maul).
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy L. Junge (Gary) of New Athens, IL, Kathy A. Cullom (James) of Warrenton, MO and Rebecca S. Denbow of New Athens, IL; her sister-in-law Rita Rickert of Freeburg, IL; her grandchildren, Martin White (Kacie), John Junge (Anne), Nicholas Junge (Devin), Stanley Junge (Haley), Mathew, John Wolf (Sarah), Amanda Popovic (Mike), Kayla Jones (Matt), Justin Smith (Jessica) and Jared Smith (Nicole); and her great grandchildren, James K. White, Savanna, Grady White, Chase, Austin Junge, Samuel Junge, Bryce, Brady Wolf, Will, Josh, Nathan Wolf, Wrigley, Britton, Finley Popovic, Stevie, Magnus Jones, Westlynn, Kinsely Smith, Caden, Morgan Smith and Jeremy Futrelle.
