We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2021, at the age of 100, Ruth M. Becker of New Athens, Illinois, born in Lenzburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Walters and Lena Walters (Frech); her husband Earl W. Becker; her son Gary Becker; her siblings, Albert "Tom" Walters, Fern Adamson and Violet "Nooks" Newman; and her great grandchild Justin Little.
She is survived by: her daughter Sondra; her son-in-law Jim Meyer of New Athens; her granddaughter Kim Fitzgerald (Bill) of Kirkwood, MO; her great grandchildren, Jamie Brown (Andrew), Kate Fitzgerald, Benjamin and Maisie Brown; her grandchildren, Lori Parks (Rob) of Belleville, IL, Jon Meyer (Paula) of New Athens, IL and Dylayna; her great grandchildren, Zander Campbell and Roman Lemberg; her grandsons, Jeffrey Becker and Ryan Becker (Kindrea); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Maddie and Alex Becker; her daughters-in-law, Carolyn Becker and Roberta Becker Farr; and her nephew James Newman (Judy). She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the New Athens Ambulance Service, Shriners Hospital for Children or to the donor's choice.
